Did Herman Stay for The Eyes?

Maybe CDC is part of the problem. TCU is a different animal than Texas.
While we don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes, this concerns me as well. I look forward to SabreHorn’s take.

CDC is in a tough position and if he makes the wrong move (as perceived by those to whom he reports), he could be jettisoned. However, it’s not like he is a poor man. Ultimately we all have to make what we believe to be the best decision, even if it is the most difficult one. I really hope that CDC does that.

I'll just say that I'll be the last one to jump off the CDC bandwagon. The man has so much on his plate, and has performed so admirably that I can't imagine anyone being able to replace him.

I had two major requests, and he delivered on both; the rest of my requests were unreasonable for the time.

Now how much say I get in the selection of our new football coach is probably a different matter. Considering I was all in on hiring Herman, maybe my input should be limited.

My friends off the 110 on Exposition are gathering money to lure CDC away. I told them to take Herman instead.

The Administration is afraid to offend anyone....Unfortunately the tradition of the University is entrusted to the timid and weak after all.
They are afraid of offending anyone OTHER than those being offended by the lunatic decision-making and who write checks to the University of Texas. Much like the City of Seattle with Boeing, et al, the University is about to find out what happens when you piss off those who actually pay your way...

If my sense about CDC is accurate — and of course you know him and I don’t, he doesn’t strike me as the type of individual to leave without completing the job. That would mean righting many ships, starting with football.

I hope you're right. I hope the fans and BMD draw a line in the sand and stick to it. I hope it is not like so many other things where people fool themselves into thinking the battle is already lost. It may hurt for two seasons to hold out, but that's probably what it will take for Bellmont and the school Admin to get the hint.

My position is that if Herman left the field and did not stay for The Eyes, CDC should suspend him for one game, next week. A message needs to be sent.

If the result of a suspension is a revolt by the players, so be it. And if there are not enough players to play the game, I’m OK with a forfeit.

This could be a blood bath, but a blood bath now would be better than allowing this insubordinate behavior to continue.
Absolutely!

Fair warning: if Tom Herman walks off the field one more time without singing the Eyes, there will be a **** YOU TOM HERMAN post every Monday morning after a game until the situation gets corrected.
