Sabre and HIC, if y'all are there, I will be there to buy all your beers or adult beverages until you pass out or until closing time. We ALL have to medicate after this loss..
 
I'm happy to make it and see you guys. Won't drink more than one adult beverage. And as one who got damnned tired just sitting in the cotton bowl for a four hour game i damn sure Won't be be nodding in agreement with anyone bitching about the young men who left it all on the hot turf Saturday

Volleyball? Is that the sport where we lost the National Championship to Kentucky and the Skinner sisters from Katy Taylor? That would be the same Skinner sisters that we never recruited.

BTW, football brings in $12-14 million per home game. Volleyball might bring in $25,000 in a season. Have the VB coach and players sent thank you notes to the football team?

When it comes to football, there is no relaxation either in season or in recruiting.

We're good. Losing to OU always sucks. One of my students is a Sooner fan and expects to see us in Arlington in December. He did not sound hopeful. As always :ousucksnana:

As for a Big State Drug, I guess you could sort of say it was a high school hang out. It actually used to be a real drugstore with a soda fountain, and I ate lunch there at least once a week with my dad when I worked for him as a teen. The drugstore eventually closed and the place was perilously close to extinction, but a couple bought it several years ago and turned it into a popular hang out: burgers and fries, shakes, malts, and so forth.

Two years ago on the Friday before the OU game, my buddy and I were having our burgers and who walked in but Craig Way and his then-GF/now-wife Linda. That’s when I found out that he used to read my sports stories in the Irving Daily News when he was a student at Northlake College.

One is my limit too. And 'I damn sure won't sit around chatting up our big win over rice'.... Ou is the yardstick our program is measured by. The story of the game was a defensive collapse. If others aren't up for that topic, I'll take a pass

Perfect! LOL is the most overused acronym, but I really did almost spit coffee out when I saw this.

I just went in and checked some box ( I think) that allows conversations from members that was unchecked- but that had to be from day 1 that I inadvertently did.
