It is very important for us to get a couple more players from that program for 2009. Baylor has two, and we have one. We're in on 3 more for 2009, and both us and Baylor are fighting for 2010 Odyssey Sims . . .

You could see Sims' quickness and ability to attack the basket at the Texas Elite camp. No question she will be one of the top PGs in 2010. Nice to know that she can play that kind of D.

Cokie had that left knee in a wrap at the Texas camp. Hope it's nothing serious.

So Sims did make it to our Elite Camp?

Someone (maybe you) had reported that she "was supposed to be in attendance", but it was not confirmed. Maybe I missed it. Still, her being at our camp and not Baylor's (although it was the opposite situation in 2007) is major as far as Sims getting to explore UT and see what we have to offer . . .

DFW Elite is loaded. We've got ties to the program that I hope can help us land a couple of these players. Tiff''s dad runs the club and Kat, Britt and Kristen all played with for program.
