According to Rivals, this recruit is coming in for the next JR days. He shows to be a WR on their site, but according to stats, looks like a QB/RB. Any one have any more info on him? Looks like he has been offered via the site.
 
He played more QB/RB at Tulsa Central but is projected as a receiver so most sites list him as an Ath or WR and some as the top recruit in OK. Had heard he is leaning towards LSU but has several offers.
 
He is a Texas Lock according to everyone up here... He will play receiver and is drawing comparisons to Anquan Boldin at this age. Would be a hell of a get for you guys, I know that OU wants him badly. Apparently, his coach is also among those steering (no pun intended) towards Texas.
 
Looks like a man among boys. Only plays QB because he is the best athlete on the team.

Watch some of the film on AMP as he went head to head with some of the best DBs in the nation. Very strong receiver.

He passes the eyeball test and apparently doesn't like ou. sounds like a good get, lets hope Mack closes him.
 
He would definitely be a great get for UT. It's very rare the top kid in Oklahoma doesn't go to OU or an SEC school. Was Pickryl tops in Oklahoma when he signed w/UT? He was not a native Oklahoman, though, so I'm not sure it's an entirely valid comparison.

Cobbs has apparently never liked OU and favors UT. It would be like the top kid in the Austin area loving OU and not giving Mack the time of day. Strange, indeed.
 
Stoops isn't for everybody. Would Stoops have gotten the best out of Vince? I doubt it.
Some guys don't like to be screamed at and head-gamed 24/7. You don't have to walk around all day with a chip on your shoulder and a stick up your *** to be a good football coach.

I'm glad DeMarco is looking to a brighter future.

We're doing pretty good head to head with recruits against OU this year. I hope we keep it up. Seems like a solid get. I like his name too, something about it just says win.
 
He's getting Heavy interest from Texas, Alabama, Florida and LSU. Auburn, Tennessee, Oregon, OU, Okla. St., Kansas and Missouri also have given offers.

Last season he rushed for 1,113 yds and 15 TDs and ppassed for 1,030 yds and 6 TDs.

Says he may not be able to make it since his coach can't take him. Hopefully someone can give him a ride. If not, how long until he can take his paid, official visit?
 
ghoward, i don't think that's what is being said.

cobbs was planning to make the first junior day in austin, but a scheduling problem caused his coach not to be able to bring him. cobbs is expected for the upcoming junior day.
