Death penalty or no for convicted Boston terrorist?

Death Penalty, no question or morals hampers my decision as a Catholic.

The OJ argument is the dumbest one I have heard, they didn't have video or witnesses that could see anything and the Boston situation was against random innocent people. OJ, I still believe was setup, similar to the death of Michael Jordan's father.....Gambling problems cause serious issues.....

Not trying to be agumentative Taps. How long was the trial? OJ Simpson, Cullen Davis or Walker Railey would have never have become sympathetic figures in a two day trail.

All three of those guys were represented by some of the top criminal defense attorneys in the country, who knew how to rip apart and discredit everything the prosecution threw at them, especially witnesses. In addition, they could afford to use experts the same way a prosecutor can. All of that gave them the opportunity to extend the trials and make good impressions on the juries while making a bunch of mediocre prosecutors' case look like a 3 Stooges episode. Finally, they all had clients who could present well, whether they actually testified or not. Most criminal defendants don't have any of those luxuries.

You think OJ was innocent? Gotta admit, I'm a bit surprised.

One poll taken in Massachusetts, found that the majority of people in that state were against execution. I'd wager against him ever being executed, especially since he'll get retrial after retrial. I'll be dead before he ever will.

That's too bad because in prison he might be able to radicalize other American dumbasses with no direction to their lives.

Death penalty for sure. After the sentence is carried out, we should throw his dead body into a grave with dead hogs. Show the funeral video on Arab TV. Would probably make the next one think twice. Gen. Jack Black Pershing style.

So executing a terrorist, burying his body with dead hogs, and showing it on Arab TV will make radical Muslims twice about becoming terrorists? Really? Did you consider the possibility that it would have the opposite impact, giving them bloodthirst for revenge?

I'm all for the death penalty in this case, but let's not oversell it.

I don't care at this point. These terrorists only care about their religion and family, I see no reason to treat 8th century Islamist terrorists with 21st century niceties. Let the next Martyr know he will sleep with pigs and his family will see the funeral. We should have
buried Bin Laden in the same manner instead of bending over backwards to provide a "Muslim" funeral. We gained nothing giving Bin Laden a "Muslim" burial. We need to go Gen. Pershing on them. They will get mad and more bloodthirsty? I doubt it and believe it would have the opposite effect. There is no reason to show any dignity or respect for Islamist terrorists.

In a CBS poll released today, 60% responded he should get death, 30% said no, I guess 10% were undecided. CBS didn't say.

BTW, if it wasn't clear from my just previous post I am joking about the conspiracy part being real in a faux excited way to report that the clearly delusional family of the brothers de terrorista have gone completely bonkers in their grief that said brothers either did this or that they got caught. And also that Time Magazine is reporting it as well.
