Death of Greg Cook

Please pray for Aubrey Cook and her family. Her father Greg Cook ( played for LSU in the final -four in the l970's). Aubrey has signed her committment and will be playing for the UT women basketball team next season. Greg was 46 yrs. old and died of heart failure on Saturday March 19, 2005. Aubrey and her family are from Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, Texas.

Aubrey Cook and her mother, Sheryl, are neighbors in the Ravensway Subdivision. Greg was a great guy and great basketball coach for a numerous amount of girls here in Cypress, Texas. Through all his pain he was a great inspiration to all you knew him. It is will be up to the UT family to take care of Aubrey as she starts her basketball career. Greg was so excited for Aubrey to be playing close to home so he could come watch her. His funeral will be Wednesday in Houston and then his body flown to New Jersey where he will be laid to rest by his family. Greg is survived by his mother, father, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. hey big head this your best friend shantell don't worry everything will be alright when ever you need me u know im there for you and your mother just know that he is very proud of you just as much of all us! You came too far to give up so just keep your head up and stay strong i just wanted you to know i care[ lol] even though we have our up's and down's im'a always be there for you and i better have floor tickets to every game[lol] cuz i don't think daddy[rip] would approve of me sitting 5 rows up ya kno. welll ima end here i love you sister and i feel your pain to daddy[rip] u are really missed
