The one time Texas commit has a deadline up coming up and it's still up in the air where this guy is going to end up. Maybe he needs a new recruiting pitch.

If you want to go to the Sweet 16 go to Duke or Kentucky. If you want to go to the NBA after one year come to TEXAS! lol
 
The Wednesday deadline is for the national letter. If he doesn't, he can sign a scholarship agreement with as many schools as he likes and decide later.

Based on what I have been reading, it doesn't sound like they're changing their recruiting strategy in any way... except maybe to be more actively recruiting at positions where they may have a one-year guy.
 
There is a new comment from this morning under the 'conversation' tab on his ESPN profile that says he is commiting to Texas on Wednesday. Don't know how reliable it is, or the source, but it's there nonetheless.
 
In addition to the comment on his ESPN profile about him committing to the Horns, several other sites have reported today that Duke and Oregon are out and that he will decide between Texas and Kansas. Guess we'll know for certain tomorrow.
 
The one constant in his recruiting is that nobody trying to report on this knows anything.

There are a lot of reports out there now that Texas looks very good, but it would be just the last twist for him to pick another school.

That said, Kabongo's tweet is a definite positive.
 
He'll definitely get more PT here. And we're all about sending kids to the NBA. It also gives us 10 players to work with and more leniency with what to do at the 2-spot and 3-spot on the floor.

No set time. He's going to call the various coaches, then release it to the media.

No hats, no news conference that I've been able to find.

I don't like that Daniels is now going to announce tomorrow. Jamari Traylor announced for Kansas today, and maybe Daniels didn't want to steal Traylor's thunder? If that factored in, then Daniels is also calling for the Jayhawks in my view. Another one and done isn't my biggest desire anyway. I'm too old for lack of development before bolting for coin.
 
He was supposed to announce this morning, and its no longer the morning in Florida.

Either he's truly torn, or he's building hype. Either way, pull the damn trigger already. I've got **** I need to do today.
 
come on. Make the right decision. Austin is awesome and Lawrence sucks. You can make it to the NBA from either place!!!!!!!!!!! Just a little quicker here lately.

But - today is Thursday. Hopefully that is just about yesterday's postponement, & we will still get at least a clue today.
