great pictures. Play of the game. If Eli goes down in a sack the game is more than likely over. Also Samuel had a pick in his hand on that same drive that could have ended the game. The Gmen won because the ball bounced their way more than not.

I actually said to my girlfriend as the ball for that play was being snapped "Maybe the Giants will get some karmic payback for the time they had Vince stopped and he got away." Was pretty incredible that it happened on the same play I said that.

the way the ref was running in like that makes me thing he was REALLY close to blowing it dead, and then Eli got away...

Watcing that replay, I love the seeing the other Giants recevier sprinting toward Tyree when the ball is thrown, in case there's a deflection or whatever. Watch him start at about the 42 yd line. Great hustle.

^ Yeah, it's hard to tell with the jerky slow motion but it seems like he's running like hell while everyone else that far away from the play is just jogging or watching.

Isn't that Steve Smith?

That kind of hustle made us have to stop USC on 4th and 2 in the Rose Bowl. He recovered LenDale White's fumble on 3rd and 7 by following the play to its conclusion.

I have a question:

If when Tyree brings the ball down, the point touches the ground, shouldn't the pass be ruled incomplete?

I'm not saying it did. In fact, I think it didn't and I think it makes it that much more of a remarkable catch

No - the ball can touch the ground and still be complete, so long as it was already firmly in the control of the receiver, and so long as the ball does not shift position in the receiver's hands when it touches the ground.
