Cyber Warfare: What's the Real Agenda?

No, you’re missing the point. Putin is bad because he kills enemies, is an autocrat, and has built a massive fortune stealing from his country. He has put Russia in a situation where its underfunded and undertrained (see “stealing” above) army is struggling in a discretionary invasion, and is resorting to brutal methods that are slaughtering innocent civilians. The world is outraged and is punishing Russia.

What you say here is all true. Even more, no one disputes this. But you make a big mistake to then use the transitive property to apply Putin's guilt on all Russians. Thousands are protesting Putin's war, but they are being punished along with everyone else. That is collectivist thinking. Leftism. Not traditional Right individualism. It is the cause of much injustice in the world.

Is the US good? Is any nation? I don’t know, but it is clearly better than Russia.

Assad is not a monster? In what world?

No nation is good. Still, the US doesn't have a good track record over the last 10-30 years in foreign policy. In Syria, the US government was clearly on the wrong side supporting Al Qaeda/ISIS. Assad also bad, but better than those who wanting to kill every Alawist in the country and were beheading fellow Muslims.

The US was not supporting ISIS. Stop believing the RT propaganda. There were more than two sides.

Obama created ISIS by arming Al Qaeda in Northern Iraq. It is a documented fact. The propaganda was from the US side saying that we were supporting "moderate" rebels. Nope Islamic extremist rebels. Reports of their brutality and murder were being made as they took ground. The US supported the head choppers. It is horrible to think but it was the truth. The purpose was to weaken Iran's influence in the area after we had beat down Iraq so bad at the time.
