if I remember right Roschon volunteered to be rb without being asked to be a rb. I am not sure if he saw a need at rb or if he knew he wasn't ever going to be a starter at QB. Or both.The last time I was surprised when the coaches asked Roshon to switch from QB to running back and he turned into a genuine stud. Could have started in most programs. Only Bijan's off the charts talent kept Roshon from being a 2 year starter and all conference RB, imo.
Our RB room will not be near as good as last year due to losing Bijan and Ro. But that doesn't mean it won't be above average and by season's end it might be way above average. I think Brooks and Baxter will be better than most expect. Especially since we should have a quality O line and an improved QB.
And if Malik gets meaningful snaps then he adds a duel threat QB which makes our running game even better.
