CP3 to Rockets

Meanwhile Danny Green called BS on the whole report. The drama out of San Antonio is one of the weirdest things I've seen in a while.

Did they learn the right lesson two years ago, when they set the regular season win record and went into the playoffs not as healthy as they could have been?

I'm not sure that was their issue. Everybody looked fine except for Curry, who was fine until he stepped on someone's foot in the playoffs, and even after that he was still 95% as good.

I am obviously a ROX fan, but have never hated on the Spurs, even pulled for them in Finals. It was easy to do as I saw it as cheering for the in-state team. I like the best team being from Texas (as long as its one of these two teams, lol).
However, Pop is getting more and more irritating every season. So Ive been getting a little schadenfreude from his missteps lately

What is the story on Leonard’s contract? Isn’t he eligible for supermax this summer? And able to go free agent next summer if the Spurs don’t sign him?

With his injury issues, would the Spurs give him supermax money? But if they don’t, he’s going FA the next year, right?

When he’s healthy, he’s a top four player. Will he be healthy?

If we all pull together, I think Houston should be able to somehow struggle by with one less BBQ joint. #HoustonStrong
Not disagreeing with the notion, I just feel it reflects poorly on the City for idiots to have used Yelp in that manner...there was a time where the City used to have fans that exuded a modicum of class...

I fear class took the last train for the coast when Al Gore invented the internet.

Joe,

Strongly you suggest that you peruse the menu before heading over to West Houston's cheeseball center. BBQ? Since when does all that horrible **** on the menu qualify as "BBQ"?

Lets be fair, all the posts from Cali are pretty idiotic too.

Bill Simmons says on Carmelo Anthony:

"I think it's Houston or Philly, from what I've heard. Lakers are out."
"I think it's gonna be Houston."

I have mixed feelings about this possibility. I have always hated him (have called him Marshmello ever since that Final 4). But I guess if I can learn to sometimes hate KD, I can learn to cheer this guy.

I find my overall interest in the NBA fading. One and dones are part of it. Player-engineered super-teams are another. It's just not as much fun as it used to be, even though my team had best record in league last season.
