Coveting your prayers

I can't go into detail so I'll try to explain this as best as I can... I'm dealing with a situation in which I have to totally and unashamedly trust God... we're talking completely handing it over to Him and knowing that He will take care of the situation and by doing so, it will be much better in the long-term. BUT... I'm really struggling... having a hard time turning it over. Even though I hear God and what He wants me to do, I try to jump into the situation and exert my influence over it. Please pray that God continues to use the Holy Spirit to help me with the situation, to mold me into Christ's image and to place what is happening in God's hands.

Thank you...

By allowing yourself to trust in God, you are already half-way there. I understand where you are at. I have been there myself.

Psalms 23 and 91 have always been completely inspirational to me and I have copies of them on my tack board in my office. Anytime I feel low or disheartened by something, I read them and they comfort and soon things get better. There is nothing stronger than faith except for the love that God has for each of us. Hang in there!

It's not easy... I have good days and bad days. Monday was not so good... Tuesday was OK and yesterday was good. Today... a bit tougher. It's tough to turn this one over but I keep trying.

Keep trying. I am in a similar predicament myself at the moment and I too want to control the situation instead of just letting it take its course. Everyday is a new challenge and I go to bed at night asking myself: Did I achieve what I wanted to regarding this situation? At some point you just have to let go...it's the letting go that is hard but once you start doing that you'll have more peace. Until then just keep looking forward!

Thanks everyone - I'm doing a bit better. The mornings are arguably the toughest and I improve as the day goes on. Again, it's all about giving it up and having God work on me at the same time.
