@BevoJoe, just fyi ... the countdown thread is where we post a picture or video of a player wearing the number that corresponds to the number of days remaining until the first game on September 5. Today, June 8, is 89 days until Sept 5 so that’s why #89 Charlie Talbert was posted today.

But if Mr Nobis wants to be here today I won't argue with him...

Cotton left UT a few years before I got to UT. Loved watching him and all the Horns from when I moved to Austin in 1962 to this day. I watched a good number of games from the bleachers in the south end zone as a kid.

There was an off season hype video that was set to some Memphis rappers song. I don't recall which time frame it was nor the rapper but it was awesome. It had the players and coaches hitting the ground in hustle drills and other things. Ring a bell with anybody?
