Good to see the BCS rotation potential mentioned.

Cotton Bowl should have always been A BCS game.Even with the stadiums condition it should have been upgraded and sent into the rotation a long time ago.....As long as we have this debacle known as the BCS anyways....

Ha ha well I get leave every year I get to choose either Christmas leave or New Years(Or Bowl Season)I always pick Bowl season.Priorities lol.Even though for he past 5 years I wish I had taken Christmas instead

It's moving because a 10:30 am kick off on New Years means small ratings for a bowl game that has BCS aspirations.

A 1:00 pm kick off on Jan. 2 -- with out having to rely on people fighting hangovers to tune in, and without as many bowl games to compete with means better TV ratings, which makes it a great move as far as the Cotton Bowl is concerned.

the bcs folks chose weather over tradition...i mean, what the hell, the big 12 champ goes all the way to AZ? lsu...back yard; miami....back yard; usc....back yard (of course, we own that yard)

January 2 is a Friday this coming year, so I would think most people will have the day off. Hopefully they get a good match-up for the Fair Park finale.

A new stadium and a new game date is the price the Cotton Bowl must pay if it wants to be a BCS Bowl.
