And to continue this perpetual ***-kicking, our immigration policies need to be revised such that we are recruiting the world's smartest people to come here. The process for potential immigrants would basically be like applying for a job. They would have to do testing, etc.

Through proper identification and incentives, we could brain drain the rest of the Earth and bring them all here.

If you are not a doctor, nurse, or PA, you should not be giving others medical advice.
I generally respect MDs but I have learned through painful experience that there are times when they are unequivocally wrong in their diagnosis and recommendations. It is wise to always question authority and push back when your gut tells you something is off.

That's right. Get a 2nd opinion...................from a Doctor (not a witch doctor, new age healer, rare herbs supplement flake, or random guy who read some health articles on the internet...)

Now you tell me. Time to get rid of the goats, crystals and 'shrooms.

If humans were made of something durable instead of meat, maybe like carbon fiber, we would hold up much longer and have fewer physical problems. Repair and recovery times would be short.
Meat is not a good material for an apex predator that does not need to be optimized for consumption like, say, beef and chicken.
If I were to create a universe and a high order species I would use better materials than meat.

Yes, titanium.

I think what you are saying is that white people are the best.

Yes. Experts many times follow the opinion of the powerful. Even when they don't, your personal needs can be different than the average person that they have studied in books. Always push back.

We tend to approach discourse with a "soldier mindset" - an intention to defend our own beliefs and defeat those of our opponents. A more useful approach is to adopt a "scout mindset" - an intention to explore and gather information.

Thanks Driver. I had never heard of those two mindsets. Upon further review of my own beliefs, I tend more towards the soldier than the scout. Gowing forward, I will try to be more of a scout.

It's good to be reminded to listen, not hear but really listen, to others.

One of my favorites that sadly, I do not adhere to much. I keep trying.

Lean meat is an abomination.
Cut out the sugar and carbs to make room for more protein and healthy fat. Fat from olive oil and fresh meat is healthy in my opinion. You will also lose 40 lbs like I did.

Exactly! I love fatty meat.
In 2016 my teenage son lost 60 lbs by going keto, almost exclusively meat.
Is that still controversial? I don’t know but it shouldn’t be.
