I was in Reynosa, Mexico, on a mission trip this past weekend, so I was unable to attend the Super in Austin. My dear friend Elgin Hot Sausage sent me texts to keep me apprised of the goings-on. While in Mexico, our group built a house for a wonderful little family, build a beautiful bookcase and played with the kids at an orphanage, and performed a medical mission for the most destitute citizens of the colonias outside Reynosa.
I hated that I couldn't see the Horns win, but my weekend was equally awesome.
I am very proud of the way the Longhorns put Houston away, and I am very excited about the CWS. Let's go, boys, and win it all!
