concert tix for upcoming shows?

any hear any new Stellastarr* stuff? they've got to have something ready for the new record i'm thinking

i've seen them once, when they opened for the Raveonettes @ La Zona Rosa a couple of years ago

and i'm tryin so hard, yes i'm trying to be what she's dreamin of
 
there hasn't really been anything released or leaked from the new stellastarr* album

all i know is that it's coming out august 23, and they didn't even include a couple of the songs they played on tour and were going to put on it. i e-mailed them and asked wtf because i liked those songs, and they replied that the ones they did put on the album will rock my face off

i accepted that answer
 
it appears that stellastarr* is coming the 26th...

so i should be in town, unless like, i have anatomy lab or something. i can't miss the cutting.

why aren't they playing acl

* The Arcade Fire, The Black Keys @ Stubb's on Friday 9/23. Interesting, because they play ACL Fest on Sunday 9/25.
 
i think it's common practice now for an ACL band to also play a venue here that weekend, i'm not complaining, it's a good trend!
 
Am I mistaken in thinking M83 is playing a venue other than ACL Fest when they're in Austin? For some reason I thought they were at Stubb's or Emo's also???? I can't find that on showlistaustin now.

They are playing Numbers in Houston on 9/22, which should be excellent.
 
Thanks, adi. I hope they play "Car Chase Terror". Wonder how that'll go over live. On the album, it's creepy as all get out.
 
nice one, MIA could be an interesting show

i'm going to Ravi Shankar @ the Paramount Sept. 20th, should be an interesting show as well
