I'm sure that this has been posted before but wanted to vent a little. I don't listen to Collin Cowherd much but when I do, I always feel like he doesn't really watch the games or even the sports that he is commenting on. He makes these sweeping generalities (often wrong in my opinion) that he never backs up by specific references.
As an example: I can't remember exactly what day it was this week but he was talking about how tough local media can make a sports team better and mentioned that the Bay area media was soft and thus San Francisco sports are terrible. Granted, they haven't won a championship in a while but the Warrior made it to the playoffs two straight years and the giants played in a World Series this decade. I'm not from the Bay area and don't follow their teams so I have no idea whether the San Francisco media is soft on their sports teams but I can't agree with Cowherd's assessment that they've had "no success for decades."
Anyone else have an opinion on Cowherd?
