Colorado v Nebraska

One game does not a season make.
Heck, we even beat the Irish with Charlie.

I don’t see Nebraska putting up more than 17. Colorado rolls in this one.

I really like Matt Rhule but I think Nebraska has too many issues to fix overnight. Of course last week I would have put Colorado in the same category.

Not playing out as I expected. Defensive game, sort of.

I dislike NU intensely, with their destructive Texas penis envy. I mostly just ignore Colorado.

I guess i'll cheer for the Buffs, with limited enthusiasm.

CU very lucky on that last drive. RB receiver doesn’t go out of bounds. Tackled with 1 second left. If NU tackler just held him up for 1 more second, no FG attempt. RB nowhere close to goal line.

In addition to the larger issues, Nebraska is riddled with tiny errors like that play. No situational awareness. Colorado coaches were standing next to every available Zebra.

If the NU qb doesn't go out of bounds on the third down play Buffs don't have a timeout or they are not in position to kick the fg. NU punter not having a good day either. In any event, the NU qb is responsible for all of the Buffs points and has cost his team at least six points if not more.

You gotta love Nebraska. They get all butt hurt in the Big XII, move to the B1G where there's little natural affiliation, but where they're certain they'll thrive.

Almost immediately, they discover that, instead of living at the center of the college football universe, they've always resided in a backwoods Aggie valhalla, where the sheep outnumber the people.

Way to bugger yourself, Nebraska.

Colorado might just lead the nation in unsportsmanlike penalties. Something tells me Coach Prime isn’t too concerned with that.

CU certainly plays hungry and they have talent at skill spots. Will be interesting to see how they play against the Oregons, USCs and Utahs of the world.
