Will be interesting for the first time since Big 12. But I suspect it will not be close at all.

I’ll be pulling for Colorado every weekMinnesota has a defense, Colorado does not. Nebraska probably wins in a close game. However, I will be pulling for Prime Time to win. Pretty cool he is coaching his sons and shaking up college football at the same time.

agreed AND Colorado gave up football decades ago. Crazy. Maybe there is hope for us.Non-cookie cutter coaches like Sanders and Leach (RIP) are good for college football
hatred for NU is ingrained deeply in me.Please NU, win! I can’t take another week of the Prime hype.

Dion, I’m friendly with the Director of Football Relations at Nebraska, and texted him to “please beat Colorado this weekend.” He texted back, “please beat Bama.”Please NU, win! I can’t take another week of the Prime hype.
Team that used to be good awhile back, and that's been through a bunch of down years lately, wins an exciting game with scores in the 40s (where exciting is equated with great b/c it was high scoring but if it had been 20-17 it would have been treated differently) against a team that has mostly been good for a while - and who blew them out by 30 the year before. So now people presume that the winning team is BACK and that both teams are pretty good.
Texas-Notre Dame 2016, or Colorado-TCU 2023?
auto correct for the win.???
Old 65?
Deloss was "cheaply responsible"??
Did you mean chiefly?
Deloss was never cheap about anything at Texas
there are some good analogies there, but Texas was never coming off a 1-11 season with 80-90% roster turnover led by a loud mouth showman telling anyone who would listen that “we coming” while being the talk of college football the entire off-season. Then shocking everyone (and that’s not hyperbole) by beating a team that played for the championship the year before on their own field. As I recall, we were ranked heading into our game with ND.
What Coach Prime has done so far (I emphasize so far) is nothing short of remarkable. We’ll see how the rest of the season plays out, but I am so impressed with what he’s done in so short a time frame. I’ll be pulling for the Buff’s all year long. My only concern with Colorado having too much success is that he jumps to the top of the coaching hires list and takes over OU or ATM in a couple of years. That would not be good for us.
You probably dont even like Deion referred to as coach prime. I too, have disdain for arrogance but Deion is not all about arrogance. He has been humbled in many different ways in his life. He simply enjoys the game and he also loves to be a positive influence on his players teaching them to respect God. We need more coaches like that. Actually we need more people like that. Its funny watching the tv commentators and the ones here. Most people dont get that primes qb son was recruited and offered by a lot of P5 programs. He is not a surprise that he did well. Adding in Hunter who was the #1 recruit 2 years ago, those 2 greatly influenced that froggie game. Sanders throws a very good, catchable ball just like Colt did. Some guys have that skill and I wish QE had it. Neither cu or tcu have any kind of defense based on that first game. I am not a fan of the showboating that prime and his team displays but thats the game today. Texas has a big problem with it on D that started back when Strong came to Texas. Guys jumping up on any good play like they are the next prime. I get it that the times celebrate that but just not a fan. As far as cu and nu, have to pull for nu here. Rhule is a legit coach just like Prime appears to be but I suspect nu will show more respect on the field. Either way, lets go beat bama!! I feel its another ou blowout 49-0.....ok back to reality, anything more than they score is fine by me!!!
I don’t remember any of Sanders’ players showboating in the TCU game. Did they? Part of why I bought in after watching was that it was NOT like watching Houston Cougars. Its funny watching the tv commentators and the ones here. Because of who he is (known successful black superstar, also earning black street credibility by coming out of the black college football conference) he can get away with a more disciplinary approach and actually get buy-in from big ego kids. I couldn’t help noticing he is giving shout outs to “the hood,” and if or when he gains more legitimacy, he could be a fierce recruiter in urban areas. You probably dont even like Deion referred to as coach prime. Part of why Sanders kept saying they would win was because of his son and Hunter and the incoming freshman star—he said he was bringing Louis Vuitton luggage with him to Boulder and that’s what he meant.
Then there's this. Petty stuff. Belongs at Cu... even UH
