Hawaii -- Da Bows to hire GJ Kinne (Phil. Eagles O. asst) as their new OC. Also, Hawaii is reaching into the Texas HS football coaching ranks to reel in Dan Phillips (McKinney, TX HS - ST and DBs) to be their new ST coach.


Mississippi State - the Pirate raids us here at Texas to get Jason Washington (Texas CBs). Of course, Washington was also a good recruiter for us.

Penn State - PSU is fighting with aTm for the services of Elijah Robinson (aTm DLs). Never thought I say this, but Robinson would be better off staying at a&m.

USC -- Helton, Bohn, and Robinson bring out the hatchets and create a bloody murder scene in Troy. 3 D coaches have been fired: Greg Burns (DBs/CBs), Chad Kauha'aha'a (DL), and Johhn Nansen (ILB). Todd Orlando is expected to coach the LBs, while new coaches will fill in the DL and CBs coaching spots.

All these coaching changes the last 3 years BUT the worse coach of all still remains...

While it will make our road each year a bit tougher, it's good for the conference to keep Campbell around. He may be like Patterson or Snyder--perfectly happy to be the long-term coach at a somewhat less-prominent school. He can be the hero for life at ISU, or possibly the goat at an MSU, Mich, aOSU, Wisc., Nebraska, etc.
 
Michigan State - Matt Campbell (ISU HC) has turned them down (see above), as has Luke Fickell. But the Spartans are rumored to be upping the ante $$$ in an attempt to convince Fickell (Cincy HC) to jump ship. The Big 10 makes sense for Fickell, could be a $ negotiation. Other names being thrown out for Mich. St. include Robert Saleh (49ers DC), Mel Tucker (Colorado), Todd Grantham (Florida DC), and Chris Klieman (KSU). It's a bit embarrassing for a Big 10 team to be rejected by the coach at Cincinnati and ISU. Bad things can happen when the NCAA sharks are circling a sinking ship.

Kind of tells you how bad it truly is at MSU. Kind of like Michigan's aTm.

Arkansas -- OFF-SEASON NON-FOOTBALL JUNK ALERT

If the darn place wasn't in hillbilly country, I'd just snap that up for myself and the Misses. It would require a lot of redecorating, but that's chump change. :lmao:

The size of those houses is great, but the interior decor of both are garish and bespeak of the very nouveau riche.
 
My dream is to win the lottery, buy the biggest house in the French Riveria and red neck that thing up. I'm talking a porch with a old toilet for a cooler, and a shotgun for visitors. A giant velvet Elvis painting as you enter. And a sub-zero freezer full of Popsicle and pot pies. Most important is a room devoted to the greatness of John Wayne and Ronald Reagan.

I can hire you as a consultant on my man cave when I sell my house and move. Get your ideas together. I do like taxidermy, just FYI.
 
I haven't read all 21 pages of this thread, so this may be old news, but I read in the Sunday SA Express-News that the Tech QB who started against us, Jett Duffey, was denied a transfer to Central Michigan because of a second Title IX complaint. He is trying to get out of Lubbock as a graduate transfer. He knows Alan Bowman will be the starter next year if he can stay healthy.

Duffey has twice been accused of sexual assault/harassment. Neither complaint led to a legal conviction. The first complaint, while Kingsbury was the coach, got him a probation period.
