Coaching candidates -- who's on your mind?

that's right, who knows? I am waiting to see who wants to come here and who is offered the job. There will be someone, regardless of the problems to be overcome.

There were proably about 4 or 5 good post on that board, a lot of the others were just way off base or just flat out ignorant and wrong lol

I was very impressed with the job that MaChelle Joseph at GA Tech did vs Baylor...they started out great, but of course, against the "Gri-ylor Machine", they were chopped up and spit out....but I liked her fire...liked her game plan, hope CP has her on the short list...

Does anyone else think we might have a hard time getting who we want after the GG round?

Not if they suscribe to the old saying of being the coach that follows the coach that follows the legend.

Probably we won't know, although it may get out, whether the coach that will be hired was the first choice.

Joseph should not be on the short list IMO. I believe this is her 11th season, and also her first sweet 16? I want someone with proven rebuilding success, success coming in the form of atleast elite 8's. Final 4's are preferred

Kentucky is playing today with potential candidate Kentucky head coach Matthew Mitchell ( at least among Hornfans) guiding his team against Gonzaga for the right to advance to the Elite Eight.

Good track record with Kentucky, especially the last three years.

A couple of additional names that I saw come up on a different board....

Coquese Washington (Penn State)
Chris Dailey (UConn)

....both seem to be in that catagory in which they do not match the traditional profile, but might ultimately be good choices.
