She is the 4th fastest Coach to get there....beating both Summitt and Conradt......

But, true to her demure and unassuming nature, she said "They have 900 wins, so I'm the new kid on the block"... ...

Well, hell, "Welcome to the Block, Coach"....you ROCK, girl!!

Congrats Coach!

I memember when Jody got #500 in the SWC tournament finals at Moody in the late 1980s. Guy beside me had a sign that said "499 + Tech = 500".

Here's a link to a very interesting article in the Raleigh Durham paper. Lots of the same stuff we've read/heard - but with some very interesting twists and tidbits.

I agree wholeheartedly. While pork, properly BBQ'ed, can taste very good, but that mess people in the Southeast try to peddle as BBQ, is STEAMED and then they pour a vinegar based sauce over it and they want you to pay for it. YUK!!!

I live in North Carolina and I can tell you that there is two different types of barbeque, eastern and western. These are entirely different cooking techniques. I don't know which type you had but apparently it wasn't the eastern type which is the best in my opinion. It is true our idea of barbeque is pork. If you want true North Carolina barbeque you need to come to Lexington which is known to be the barbeque capital of the south and I know first hand that this is the type that Coach G likes.

Pork or Beef?? Who cares, I just want Coach G to "barbeque" our opponents, ........

"Roast OU", .....

"Bake the Bears"......

"Skewer the Aggies".......

Now THAT'S the kind of Barbeque taste we can ALL get in to!!!
