Clinton camp circulating Obama pic?

I condemn this sort of tactic. But the difference between the Obama pic and the Bush/HRC pics is that the man's name is Barack Hussein Obama, not George or Hillary, and he's running for President of the United States.

A picture says a thousand words and there are plenty of middle of the road rednecks who won't like this. Regardless, it's too late for HRC anyway.

Dumb move by the Clinton staffer (if Drudge on his source is be believed).

Softball for Obama, just as the NYTimes article on McCain was a softball.

Clinton should have bowed out after the Texas debate.

The Clintons will destroy the Democratic party before they let go of power. She would rather the baby be cut in half than give it up. Isn't there a story about that in the Old Testament?

The quetion is will King Solomon (i.e. the Democratic Party Superdelegates) reward her or punish her for being wiling split the baby, thereby killing it?

Yeah, really.

I'm far more interested to know if Obama's Islamic family connections will make the U.S. stronger or weaker.

Corect. people who would be swayed by that photo asren't going to vote for BO anyway
the question will it stir some to vote against him, people who might not have voted?

I agree with Ralphie. It is too easy to dismiss people who would have an objection to this kind of publicity as not voting for Obama anyway. There are sizable segments of undecided and/or independent voters out there who would have serious questions or objections about the issues that photo raised, and they wouldn't all be "rednecks." In a tight "too close to call" election, neither candidate can afford to sniff at losing potential voters by saying, "heck, they wouldn't have voted for me anyway." Hence, the Obama camp's quick and angry reaction. They know that, however malicious and insidious Hillary's message is, it can nonetheless inflict damage and they have to counter it immediately and effectively.

Maybe Hill and Bill are trying to drive Obama's negetives up to support their contention that she will do better than Obama against the GOP in November.

Helping herself by hurting Obama (and probably the party's chance of getting the White House back). Unbelievable. I agree that many who would be swayed by this aren't likely to vote for him in the DEM primary. But there are plenty of independents and undecided votes who will be swayed by this in November's general election. Lots of people don't ike McCain and will vote on who they dislike th least in the general.

Hillary reminds me of David Koresh in that she willing to take down EVERYONE with her if SHE goes down. Eventually, if Obama loses in November, she will tell America "see, I told you so!" even though SHE may ultimately be the cause of his eventual defeat.

For Obama to have overcome his unfortunate name in the race for POTUS is nothing short of phenominal. For her to circulate thses pics is nothing short of pure evil.

I can't believes the Dems are going to sit by and watch her burn the house down around them.

UT-69745551: That is just about the most offensive thing anyone can call a woman - any woman - and is totally uncalled for. Your mother must be proud.

within the last week on WM, HRC has been called a "*****", "witch" and now " C U N T". Now if her supporters smear Obama as Obama supporters are smearing her, how is she any worse than Obama?

This thread cracks me up. "Oh, my a candidate trying to discredit another candidate to get elected!" Just wait until it becomes a two person show. Not the first time this has happened and cetainly won't be the last.

There are always going to be some folks with poor judgment and/or a lack of moral direction. However, stupid and dishonest statements from Hornsfans posters are very different that the same from campaign workers.

And the fact that some people will believe anything, or that some people will never vote for someone anyway, does not remotely excuse spreading lies about a person.

"Oh, my... My old candidate trying to discredit my new and more popular candidate to get elected!"

Fixed it for ya.

we have to know if staffers did this on their own or if HRC directed it. Either way, the smear jobs are going on by both sides. The never ending "*****, witch, c**t" on the internet is probably seen by many more people than that pic , which I would have not know about were it not for this WM thread.

She is not an evil person and its very poor judgment to think otherwise. Maybe you should ask the wife of the dead Dallas PD cop as HRC abandoned a rally to drive back to spend time with her in the hospital. C U N T right?

do you know what might destroy the Dem party? It's not HRC or Bill, who are still admired. If Obama is elected, the truth of his leftist nature will emerge and that will be the downfall of the Democratic party. He will be the most leftist president in history and 2nd place ain't close. Right wingers will love the days of Bill Clinton when Obama has keys.

he has no weakness for populism. Like anyone with total power (Bush) after a while you figure out that what the American people think really doesn't mean a damn thing.

So the Clinton campaign had someone, long ago, take this picture and save it until now?

Where did the picture originate? From a media photographer? From Obama's office? From some random African guy with a camera? Was it not already a public picture?
