Clemson-tOSU

I'm glad conference championship isn't an auto-bid. It renders the entire ooc schedule as pure exhibition games. And you'll end up with a situation like the NFL has. Some 11-1 team will get left out so that a 9-4 team they blew out can get the berth.

I'd rather have every Power 5 conference winner in the playoff than a team that wasn't capable of winning their conference get in over a team that did. I dont care who they played in week 1 or 2.

So what would the Hive Mind think if Dabo decides he's done all he can at Clemson and it's announced he's signed a contract to come to Texas?

Fields put on a show tonight, there is a reason he will likely be second player taken in the draft. Ohio State is a good team that is more than capable of looking awesome with nights like tonight. That said I think Bama rolls them by 21 plus.

The NC tourney will get expanded to 64 teams so they can wring more money. I counted 63 commercials in the first half of Bama game. That is a lot of the dreams that float the sport. Try a 64 team tourney instead of 4. More money

And they are gonna need it once they start paying players.

tOSU - Bama matchup will be interesting. I think Bama will win (yawn) but it will be a close game.
I’ll go with tOSU. They have the momentum and also, few gave them much of a chance last night. Fields is on a mission. Let me add that while Saban is a great coach, he’s not always the best in-game HC in the field.

It will be interesting Duke. Since aOSU is fresher than every team in the CFP, they get a bump up. An above-average coach can pull a rabbit or two out of his hat every season. The issue is Saban has 13-15 hats.

You just can't fix stupid people sometimes. The Clemson LB got thrown out of NC game last year, now does it again. It's a dirty move, that you can't get away with (it's not like your stomping on the ankle of a WR away from the play), and has a good chance of injuring you too.
