Chuy's

I like their deluxe tomatillo sauce and their chunky salsa because it's different, but I don't eat there very often.

I get why people want to hate on Chuy's (the popularity, the substandard rice & beans, the weak tomato salsa [although they DO offer a pico-style salsa with some kick]), but if y'all will tell me somewhere I can go in Austin to get good, hot green chile entrees year 'round, I promise to never go there again.

I've lived all over the US & Europe, and I know for a fact that you can do much worse than Chuy's. Should it be listed as one of the elite Tex Mex eateries in Austin? Of course not. Is it legit, passable Tex Mex? Absolutely.
