He is losing it. Yesterday, Chris Meyers told a story about when he worked for ESPN for the Super Bowl one year he had to do a spot with Berman.

Berman had disappeared the night before. He didn't come back to the hotel. No call, no email, no notice as to what was going on. Chris Meyers reports to location and goes through makeup and all the prep work. No sign of Berman. They tell Chris he will have to go alone. Chris is really nervous now because it was going to be a two person script on the teleprompter and now he has to ad lib in front of millions of people.

They are counting down from a minute when all of a sudden Berman's car flies around the corner, screeches to a stop, and out pops Berman. He tosses his keys to an intern to move the rental car and walks up to his spot while combing his hair and fixing his tie. They hand him a mic and it was 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 "Hi, I'm Chris Berman with Chris Meyers..."

Now he is blowing up because the crew is moving?

During ESPN's draft coverage last year, Berman kept stating that the Cowboy's draft pick Anthony Spencer was from Baylor. I guess Baylor is the only college team with gold helmets.

I was surprised to read in the last Berman thread that a lot of you don't like the guy. I enjoy his broadcasts. He over-reacted here for sure, but it still made me laugh to watch him.

Not normally a Berman fan, but if people were really doing as he suggests, that can be incredibly distracting....and if they've been told nicely more than once to stop, well, maybe it wasn't so out of line.

I looked and it appears that Chris is drinking a diet Coke.... My wife is related to Casey. Maybe I should go next time the extended family gets together, play that clip for him and ask him what was going on.
