Chinese women's gymnastics team

Formal protests and challenges can be made after the conclusion of the Olympics when all the visitors have gone home. There is no need to stir up a hornets nest during the Olympics and endanger tourist's lives even more than they are already. We don't need 100,000 crazed Chinese running around stabbing tourists.

The Russians who finished without a medal would be a good candidate to pursue protesting the ages of the Chinese gymnasts. Dental xray and I believe bone xrays will pretty much verify the true age of a person.

Some of them do look to be 10-12 y/o max.
 
So, next time we bring a bunch of 12-14 year olds w/ fake documentation. It's obvious the IOC will accept anything a government shows them so we just learn to cheat better. It's the Olympic way.

Guys, these girls in this thread look 16 to me.

If most of your 16 year old girl access is via the internet and movies of 20 year olds playing 16 year olds, then I can see your confusion. Most 16 year old girls look like children. The media has us believe that 16 year old girls are mostly adult looking (I believe the actress that played Juno was 20).

Yes - there are some girls that look more mature (and even attractive), but most do not. That's why you see these idiot guys on dateline thinking 14-16 year old girls are hot. Even the girls they use in the traps are 18+. They aren’t pedophiles; they are just stupid.

Most girls don’t start looking like women until they are 17. The difference between a 13 year old and a young 16 year old is not very noticeable in girls (guys it is).

Maybe I'm just getting old.

We've all seen Miley Cyrus. I think she just turned 16. Take away her now sexed-up makeup, clothes, and script; you will see a child being dressed up like an adult. My daughter is a big fan, and I can't see how Miley looks much different than she did 2 years ago when she got her start (other than the more provocative makeup and wardrobe).

Here is the famous picture she took when she was 16 (or close). Look passed the BS that the "professionals" try to do to make her look older and sexy. It's actually scary and borderline child pornography. Keep in mind men, you can be turned on by two mountains that look like breasts.

Growing up most people always had trouble guessing the age of asians. And agreed that they always look way younger than they really are. Now all of a sudden that's not the case.
 
my girlfriend nannys for a thirteen year old and I can say that all of her friends look at least 16-17. Kids look older now days. As the old saying goes, "they didn't make em like that when I was younger"
 
The Olympics should determine who the best athletes in the world are.

12... 16... who cares?

It's a silly rule. If a 12 year old is better than a 16 year old then she deserves the Gold. I understand that rules are rules. So If these girls are proven to be too young then I suppose they should be stripped of the medal. But it's a stupid rule.

And I guarantee there are some psycho parents right here in the good ol' U S of A that train their daughters with the same extreme expectations as those Chinese girls.

So I was watching the women's individual last night and the Russian girl was up for an event... the balance beam, I think. They flashed her name and age and it said 15. I had to rewind the dvr to double check and there it was in broad daylight. Was this just a typo? Did anybody else catch it? Wtf?
 
If the government issued documents stating they were 16 I guess these girls can now get their drivers liscenses. But talk about the perfect storm for a bad driver... 12 years old, chinese and female.
