You have very low expectations. Vondrell is going to be a good, solid running back, at worst. But if that was "kick-***" last year for you, well, you definately have great opportunity to be supremely happy in the future.
Personally, I thought Darren McFadden looked pretty "kick-***" last year. I thought Jamal Charles looked "kick-***" a number of times last year, (he really looked "kick-***" when he was running for 200+ yards in just the 4th quarter against Nebraska). Felix Jones had some "kick-***" games, Kevin Jones looked "kick-***" in a bunch of games, and some others.
You must have a really long list of "kick-***" NCAA RBs based upon your parameters of identification. You also must be still upset that Javorski Lane and John Goodson were not Heisman contenders.
This is similar to the Vince to Receiver threads a few years back....he's a QB people, give him a chance. And, could we drop the too small to be an every down back ****?? Please??? That's ridiculous, I don't care who it is. I also hope Vondrell tears it up next year, but to say he jump started anything last year w/his runs is pretty rich. He seems to play w/alot of heart & determination, but that will only get you so far...see Colt.
