at the end of the article, it raises a good point...
this thing happened Friday... today's Thursday.

so either John Chiles ran so fast around the world to skip a day, kept the pimp hand strong, and ran back to today...
or the situation is fishy and took nearly a week to get "reported."

I understand your point and I know Mack doesn't tolerate the B.S., but the use of the death penalty here is a little overkill don't you think? No pun intended...
 
I always tell my son, Darrell Royal used to say "Three things can happen when you're out at 2:45 in the morning and two of 'em are bad.".
 
I am a law student and have never heard of "assault by conduct," something smells fishy. It is also not in the Texas Penal Code, so I think maybe an overzealous reporter or rookie cop got a little carried away.
 
Here we go again, throwing a player under the bus before anything near the whole story is out.

The indiscretions of past players and former players who had been kicked off the team do not make the current players guilty.
 
Supposedly the suspect has some things about what she was doing that night or what she does for a living that make her seem less than credible.
 
If the story on Orangebloods is true, the idiot who reported this to the Daily Texan should spend some time in jail. A complete fabrication and over exaggeration.

Do you prefer darn, shucks, and other euphamisms of swearing? Or is the whole fiddlesticks world off limits?
