Hats off to the kids from South Chicago...they got their butts kicked, but they never stopped playing hard. They were grossly out-matched. 105-58 final score.
 
Really glad that Vinson and Onyema got some minutes. We'll need them if Shedrick gets banged up (as he has every year).

We pretty much did no wrong other than Pope's shot selection again. Weaver had some confusing elbow shots as well, but considering we were already up by double digits by the time he got those attempts, I saw it more like him trying out a new move.

Tre Johnson has a spring in his offensive step that's kind of a combination of producers in Texas basketball lore. Every time he does something different, it's like:
"Oh that was just like Durant"
"That one looked like Reggie Freeman"
"That move was very Travis Mays"
If he can get his defensive game to stay at that same intensity level, he'll easily win the Wooden Award and it won't be close. Even the top guys at KU don't look as clean or polished offensively, and that's what sells.
