I'm afraid a lot of the songs I like are cheesy but probably the cheesiest was one I played on the juke box in the cafeteria in junior high, "Don't it make my brown eyes blue".

I guess the hard part is defining "cheesy." These are some great songs I have loved that sound cheesy in topic, and now are very dated, but once you start listening.... you'll see.

I'll jump on the bandwagon for a few that have already been mentioned:

Just about anything by ABBA since I had a couple of their LPs

"Seasons in the Sun" by Terry Jacks I had on 45 (b-side "Put The Bone In")

And then up the ante with a couple:

Juice Newton's "Angel of the Morning"

Ray Stevens' "The Streak" was my first ever 45 purchase.

Honey (Bobby G), Seasons in the Sun (Terry Jacks), Wonderful Summer (Robin Ward), Yummy Yummy Yummy (1910 Fruitgum Company), 1-2-3 Red Light (1910 Fruitgum Company), Watching Scotty Grow (Bobby Goldsboro), and on and on.

My favorite surreal moment related to one of these songs is when I went to Oktoberfest in Munich. My friend and I got there, and it looked like a state fair--rides, food and game booths, etc. (We eventually discovered the big tents where all the drinking was going on.) When we passed by the ferris wheel, they were unloading and loading people, and playing over the ferris wheel loudspeaker was "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro. At Oktoberfest in Munich.
