Cheesiest Song You Ever Liked

I'm afraid a lot of the songs I like are cheesy but probably the cheesiest was one I played on the juke box in the cafeteria in junior high, "Don't it make my brown eyes blue".

"Undercover Angel" by Alan O'Day

to:
"I love rock and roll" by Joan Jett

I'll jump on the bandwagon for a few that have already been mentioned:

Just about anything by ABBA since I had a couple of their LPs

"Seasons in the Sun" by Terry Jacks I had on 45 (b-side "Put The Bone In")

And then up the ante with a couple:

Juice Newton's "Angel of the Morning"

Ray Stevens' "The Streak" was my first ever 45 purchase.

My first 45 was Elvis with........... "Hunka , hunka burning love...." LOL. Brings a whole new connotation in the herpes era. bwhahahaha

If no one has mentioned it yet, the theme song to the Greatest American Hero. Everything about that show was cheesy but I loved it.

Believe it or not, I'm walking on air. . .

I'm a huge music snob and king of "your favorite band sucks" but I figure i can confess here since its anonymous.

dancing queen

The night chicago died ( horrible and repetitive, but a serious earworm)

Erasure- Oh l'amour.

Selena- disco medely (i really like Mexican music but her stuff is mostly ****. Dont know why i dig this one)

Honey (Bobby G), Seasons in the Sun (Terry Jacks), Wonderful Summer (Robin Ward), Yummy Yummy Yummy (1910 Fruitgum Company), 1-2-3 Red Light (1910 Fruitgum Company), Watching Scotty Grow (Bobby Goldsboro), and on and on.

My favorite surreal moment related to one of these songs is when I went to Oktoberfest in Munich. My friend and I got there, and it looked like a state fair--rides, food and game booths, etc. (We eventually discovered the big tents where all the drinking was going on.) When we passed by the ferris wheel, they were unloading and loading people, and playing over the ferris wheel loudspeaker was "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro. At Oktoberfest in Munich.
