Changes made to student ticketing/band moved/no price change

Just saw this image. I hadn't realized the longhorn in the SEZ was a giant cutout of the stands. That's incredibly stupid.

I just did the survey the things they want to do I like but the donations to sit there ohhhh boyyyyyy. If you have been to cowboys or Mavericks games they really are just incorporating the field level clubs at Jerry’s world and the lodge boxes at the aac. I screen shotted the pics on my phone not sure how to post them from my phone to here but will do it on twitter later and paste here

Thanks easy. Looks like Bevo doesn't move from the current position so if that is what the paying folks want ok by me.

Notice how they dont mention any numbers about the net increase in seating capacity> $140M divided by X add'l net seats = ???

I just completed the questionnaire. How many times can you ask "why don't you want to pay more to sit in the endzone, see nothing, all the while being deafened by the jumbotron"?

WE ARE THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS! I don't give a **** about what Mississippi Cow College or Colorado A&M have added to their ******** little stadiums. They are NOT now and NEVER will be on our level. OK, so throw in Minnesota & Cal - WHEEE! I really want us to be on their level.

Can we please fill up our empty seats that exist before adding more. It is Memorial Stadium, home of The University of Texas Longhorns (& once the Texas Relays), so can we quit trying to turn it into Dallas Country Club or Houston Country Club. Robert Dedman did a magnificent job on The University of Texas Club, which does nothing to enhance gameday for a true football fan.

I also asked them to turn off the sound on the jumbotron, eliminate commercials, can the midget, bimbo, & fat weatherman. Make the students a priority, not an afterthought.

This survey was very disheartening :hookem2:

That was the worst part they asked the same thing over and over again. Why are you not interested in lodge seating or bevo club seating lol . what if we changed the price to ...... ok how about this much..... I just stared leaving it blank and moving on after around the 3rd one.

Track guys thank you!

Surveying 101 - ask the same question multiple times to validate your answer.

My answer:

You know, we poked a tremendous amount of fun at the dumbassed aggy dudes who paid a premium for their end zone seats. Why the hell would we want to prove ourselves to be just as stupid as aggy?

He could start by ditching the Leinenkugel beer in favor of Lone Star and Shiner.

Quite honestly they can keep those out too in favor of some better choices. I find it hilarious that Shiner calls itself a craft beer now, because in my college days in the early 90's it was the cheap kegger beer.

I like this idea too many people walking to the parking lots across mlk to have cars trying to pull out and drive through the crowd. Man I’m ready for football it’s been a while since I argued with longhorn catholic and htown777

So people can stand outside on San Jacinto street to eat, drink and enjoy music while the game is going on inside DKR.

I'm sure the vendors inside the stadium won't have a problem with sharing their customers.

Carnival rides next?

Chris Del Conte, speaking to a group of Dallas Texas Exes, on improving the Texas game day experience: “I don’t need the weatherman to tell me it’s hot.”

It's sometimes useful when there's a chance of rain or lightning or whatever. But mostly it's just a minor bit fun for the majority of fans. Everybody on message boards hates it, but from the overall reaction the stadium it's obvious that's not the most common reaction at all.

Stat,

I have yet to meet anyone that doesn't think the "weatherman" is such a cheeseball that he should be in a Wisconsin or Kraft jersey.

Sure people cheer, some because he ends with "Hook em Horns", others because he's off the screen. I am not surprised that Chris' survey received an overwhelming rebuke of this "game day treat"

He's just another whoring out of our school by the previous administration.
