Inside Texas recruiting analyst Jeff Howe is in Cleveland, Tex. for Cedric Reed's school choice announcement, and Jeff just reported that Reed announced for the Longhorns over the Aggies and Sooners. Reed had hats of all three schools on the table but donned the orange and white.

Mike Sherman is recruiting his fourth class since his hire in 2007; and was hot on the phone during last night's draft, trying to move up so he could draft a four star recruit like Reed, but failed again to move up beyond the two/three star level, for the fourth year in a row?

Mike will probably be working those phones again tonight and Saturday, and failing again to move up?

What the Ags and Sooners do not seem to know is that Texas has now put it into overdrive and the great classes before are now super-great in terms of quality.

We will be kicking their asses for most of the next 5 years because of the last two classes (fumbles, penalties, and things happen).

We must like him a lot to spend one of our last remaining spots on him. He is rated very high, but his speed doesn't seem too impressive. Looking at his size, he seems like a spin down candidate. Any thoughts?
