Yeah TJ did take a lot of crap, but he was the first Longhorn of his caliber to leave early. That alone accounts for most of it. Most of us have thought it through and dont hold early departures against the athlete.

It is really great though when they come back. Because, in the end, education is NOT about the money. Particularly for those athletes who are role models and possibly first in the family to have a chance to get an education, much less a degree. They set a standard to live up to for their own families and those who look up to them.
