Unfortunately I have a bit of knowledge on this. Various prescriptions, gave myself shots for three years, two different times, etc.
Some things I recommend:
This won’t help for this year, but start taking Colostrum (you can find it at people’s, Whole Foods, etc). Allergies start in your stomach. If you have a weak stomach lining you’ll have allergies. Colostrum will strengthen your stomach lining. You pretty much have to take it year around though. The more you take it the better it works.
Have a prescription nose spray available and start taking it prior to cedar season.
If Clairton works great. If it doesn’t work use something else Zirtec, Allegra, etc. Allegra works for me, but Clairton might work for you. Clairton does nothing for me. You have to find the prescription that works for you.
If you can, leave town each year during the season for at least part of it.
If you exercise do it indoors. If you bike or run outside you’ll breath in much more cedar pollen than if you were just outside.
If you have access to a clean room that is good. And if you do, call me.
Pray for rain.
