Can someone make me feel better abou our DB's?

A couple of things to keep in mind. First as to the starters. The coaches had to make a decision about who were going to be the starters and they have made their decision. They can't just put Wells and Scott in for half the game and get experience in the guys who start. Everyone wants our DBs to grow up and grow up fast but that just doesn't happen if you yank them when they get beat on a pass. Everyone of them needs to get into the game, but if we want any of them to be ready for Mizzou, OU, Kansas, and Tech then we need to leave the starters in for the majority of the game to get enough reps in real time.

The other good new is that teams like Mizzou, Kansas, and Tech beat people in the 4th quarter of games because they throw so much that the DBs get tired and beat late in games. Although we have no proven studs in the secondary yet, we have good talent two deep at every position. When other teams get torched by these passing offenses we should still be fairly fresh in the secondary because of our depth. They may not be veterans yet but we have a lot of quality guys.

Hope you feel better.
