Not sure I follow. You wanted OU to win at Kansas? Why? Nothing good (for Texas) ever comes out of OU winning (in any sport).Great atmosphere in the Moody tonight with over 10k in attendance and $167k donated to Neighborhood Longhorns Program. OU’s loss took some of the joy away, but I hope it keeps our ladies pis*ed off and ready for revenge.
If you're thinking that had Texas won at OU then Saturday's outcome at Kansas would have been a sure loss for OU (giving Texas the outright conference title), there's no guarantee of the same result. OU could have played with more desperation not wanting to lose a share of the Big 12 title.
I'm glad OU lost. They had just been seeded #16 overall in Thursday's reveal; now they have most likely lost hosting a sub-regional in the NCAA tourney unless they win the conference tournament in KC. We'll be recruiting against them (possibly even for Chavez) for lots of Texas kids, so every loss for them is good for Texas, IMO.
