Buying boots in D/FW

I have a friend coming in town that wants buy a nice pair of boots, where would be good place to take him. Preferably around Dallas area. Thanks
 
A lot of people swear by the Justin Boot Outlet but that might be kind of a haul from Dallas. I know there's a place on Preston Road down there... maybe at the Preston/Royal area... that makes them while you wait. Can't remember what it's called but it's like a guy's name.
 
ML Leddy on north Main in Fort Worth if you want him to have the best. Right now, the wait is 12-15 months.

I have several pair, but an older friend of mine has about 150 pair from Leddy. One pair his parents bought him in 1948, and he can still wear them today.
 
Leddy's is great but if you are not wanting to drop $500-3000 on a pair of boots then there are other options in the Stock Yards.
