Buddy had a small stroke

My good friend Sly, who has graciously allowed me to join him at MANY Longhorn football games (from 1996 to present) since he has season tickets, suffered a small stroke last Monday. He was released from the hospital on Friday, and is regaining his speech and fine motor skills, but slowly. Please keep this TexasEx and die hard Longhorn football fan in your prayers so that he may have a speedy and full recovery, and enjoy a great many more Longhorn football games in the seasons to come.


And may God bless all of you in all that you do.

Many Prayers for a full and speedy recovery. thank God that it was a mild stroke , severe strokes are life altering or life ending.

Thanks to God's grace and good medicine and therapy my buddy Sly is doing much better. He's sounding like his old self and the therapists think that he is doing well enough to stop their sessions.

As Jerry Clower used to say: Ain't God Good?!

My friend went through this 3 years ago and is doing great- he is 40 and still runs a 4:50 mile...
