True confession:
I have a tough time distinguishing the runs of Red from Blue.
Baxter and Robinson and Brooks are easy for me to recognize-- their plays and running style.
But Red and Blue seem to dissolve into the same running back as I try to recall their individual plays. I know that one of them broke a 30 or so yard td scamper against BYU in the fourth quarter. And one receives the snap in the Wildcat. It may be because neither of them has had enough carries to really stand out.
I kind of think it's their last names, though. Every time the announcer calls one of their names, I think to myself: Wouldn't it be cool if we had an RB with the last name of White. Then Sark could design plays with Red, White and Blue in the backfield at the same time. We could call it the Flag formation.
I know, I know, I should have had another cup of coffee before opening Hornfans on the computer this morning.
