Around Thanksgiving I found out that one of the bridesmaids in my wedding was diagnosed with liver cancer. She's only 30 years old, and also a newlywed of sorts (married for about 3 years now). The type of cancer she has is very rare, and usually only appears in folks twice her age.
The good news is that she is getting her care at M.D.Anderson with supposedly the best liver cancer specialist on the planet. And the fact that she is only 30 means that they can give her the chemo full force and her body should be able to take the beating.
Nevertheless, the survival rate for this cancer is very low. So please keep Kelly in your prayers, as well as her family, and the folks that are taking care of her.
I know that there are more than a few of you on here who really believe in the power of prayer, as I've seen it work here in the past.
May God continue to bless all of you.
