BREAKING NEWS TEXAS RANKED # 23rd in the Nation

Good emphasis on "LIVE". Exactly how he would say it.

College football went downhill when he was pushed out. Heard it here first.
For those that want to listen to him, the Raiders radio broadcast is still done by him...along with some occasional appearances on VSIN (which he helped to found).

Yep....this^^^^^...and more..
Bystander, the situation here is way uglier and more dire than 75% of the people on here realize.
And I am an unapologetic, glass half full, look at the bright side optimist most of the time.
But one must be a student of truth and dwell in reality..
This isn't about Meyer, Tom, woke, hornfans, BMDs, regents, professors, BLM, media, pay sites, Del Conte, politics, fans, culture, Austin, national perception, recruits, etc.
This is about everything together, why it is, and what it means.
If you can't figure out what it means, then you are just as toast in trying to correct it as that dude (or gal) who keeps ruining his life and doesn't realize it's him/her...and only a deep dark, uncomfortable look in the mirror will reveal the cold hard truth and suggest the real reason his or her life's in the shape it's in.
No, I'm in the UT and the football program specifically have crossed over into a new dimension which may never be crossed back out of again...at least not soon.
I could always be wrong. I expect, though, 2020 will mark the year a new reality set in for this school, fan base, and football program.
Prepare for 8-3/7-4 and Texas/Alamo/Cheezit bowls to continue for some time.
#23 is about where we will reside....and we have no one to blame but ourselves.

I'll remain a fan.. and go to or watch all the games. I'll cheer and support. But I'm pulling back a bit and just gonna be a more casual fan
..."Due to health reasons" ya know??

My wife and her Dad are UT alums. They love to watch the team play. They have historically been superficial in their support in the sense that they don't drill down at all like we do on Hornfans.com. I've been telling my wife about this site and some of the things I'm hearing and it just kind of kicked in with her the other day when I mentioned that Meyer wasn't coming. I told her about the recruiting and how the cutting edge worm ain't turning. She finally said, "We've got a big problem don't we?"

No sh*t babe.

So, what is her username so we can all make fun of her. J/k.

No I think he gets another year because the coaching carousel won’t turn much in 2020 due to the pandemic. We have very, very few options. 2021 his buyout will be much less and more names may come available by then.

Does this mean Herman gets another extension?

Not till he wins the Cheeze-It bowl and holds that giant cracker shaped trophy high in the air! Then 2 more years at 7 mill a year, gotta make back the amount subtracted from his and everyone else's salary in the AD this year to hold down the number of layoffs.
