first start for Red Sox and took a no hitter into the 7th. gave up an infield hit and then a dinger in a no decision day.

How come 2 runs in 6.1 inning end up showing an ERA of 5.40 ???

That must be his ERA for the season now. He go hammered in his ML debut a couple days ago before making this start.

Congrats to Workman - that was a great performance. He came in with something like a 13+ ERA - probably a short relief appearance that didn't go well.

I should have titled it 'first ML start' instead of 'ML debut'. hence the ERA.
