D1 Baseball has Texas as the 11 seed with a regional that includes Arkansas matched up with aggy as the 6 overall seed in the supers.

If they think "finished two games out of first" instead of "finished in fifth place" they might see the hosting aspect differently

In terms of talent for the first 2 games, it’s Tenn and UT above the rest. In terms of bottom half of the bullpen, no one is worse than UT.

It's getting in the Top 8 and hosting a Super-Regional that's the real challenge.
 
Tech could be looking at a #3 seed. Although frankly it matters little whether you are a 2 or a 3 seed.

I wouldn’t mind going against Maryland in the Supers. Assuming we win our regional.

If they want to screw the ags, they’ll send this red hot sooner team to College Station as a 2 seed.
 
Sometimes in past regionals, a previously unheralded player has stepped up and been the unexpected star of the tournament. Would love that to happen again this year--please let it be a pitcher.
