Black Week For Baseball Both College And Pro

Last week saw the passing of long time manager of the
Miami Hurricanes Ron Fraser, icon MLB manager Earl Weaver, and one of the purest hitters the game ever saw in Stan (The Man) Musial.

Add to it the death of long time UT fan John Derton that
several people on this board know and it was a tough week
for all of us that love this game.

Definitely going to miss John.

I loved giving him **** about buying that little smart car that he drove to the weekday games instead of his truck. He just took it (well, and a beer) with a smile and we'd sit and talk before others from each of our tailgates started arriving.

RIP my friend.

plus the Astros will be in AL with DH.


I will miss Derton's squinty eyes and his proclaiming "PRIMO" when he took a sip of a Bloody Mary.
