Black Lives Matter Blames Cuba Crisis on ‘Cruel’ U.S. Embargo

“The people of Cuba are being punished by the U.S. government because the country has maintained its commitment to sovereignty and self-determination,” it adds.

While the Obama administration had relaxed the embargo with Cuba, the succeeding Trump administration largely reinstated and tightened it.

The statement accuses the United States of trying to squash the Cuban people’s attempts to liberate themselves and “crush this Revolution” for decades. It praises the Cuban government for historically showing “solidarity with oppressed peoples of African descent,” despite its long record of committing egregious human rights abuses against its own citizens and political dissenters.

Ignoring the brutality and oppression perpetrated by the Cuban tyranny, BLM concludes that the United States’ embargo on Cuba constitutes a “blatant human rights violation.”

This is why CRT needs not be in the hands of elementary school teachers. The brain-dead white virtue signalers will force this ideology on the kids because to them, the theory of CRT is innerant.

BLM is taking the side of hate America. As usual. That is not teaching history. That is pushing to support Marxists and civil rights violators. EVERYONE knows this except "progressives."
 
And in Chicago, the Mayor who say's 99% of the criticism against her is because she is a black woman (what an egomaniac), the Liberal incubator of "ideas" and rapid zealotry continues unabated. This in the City that is suffering from out of control murders. So yeah, let's put the screws tighter on the police. That should do it.

Long story, but I'll try to keep it short. My dad and I have talked about visiting the National Baseball Hall of Fame since I was a kid (about 35 years) but have never gone. Mrs. Deez suggested that I take him there while we're in the US this trip, so I'm doing that. As part of that trip, we went to a Yankees-Red Sox game at Fenway Park - an amazing experience and worth the $440 I paid for two tickets.

Anyway, while walking into the stadium I saw this. Friggin' nauseating.

However, what was encouraging is that at the game nobody from either team took a knee. Nobody booed the national anthem or God Bless America. In fact, the crowd was overwhelmingly and enthusiastically patriotic. The fact that this was in liberal Boston makes me wonder how much support the lunatics actually have.

The problem with America these days isn't normal people. The problem is the private-public power system. They are trying to exert force on Americans to believe a certain way and looking for ways to punish those who won't comply.

I generally don't even though I love baseball. I made an exception for this, because it's part of something I've been planning since 1985. Back then baseball wasn't woke. In fact, they at least tolerated Marge Schott saying Hitler wasn't that bad and calling two of her star players her "million-dollar ni***rs." They'd have her horse whipped now.

Also, I'm not sure if you work for Delta, but those MFers can eat my ***. I'll never fly them again. My flight from DFW-JFK got cancelled, and they put me on a 7:50 a.m. flight and didn't notify me of it until the day before. I tried to call them to see if I had other options since I didn't want to get up at 4:30 a.m. The hold time was 4 hours and 18 minutes, so I obviously hung up. Friggin ********. And they put us on a hot, stuffy, tiny-*** plane (an Embraer 175 I think).

Understandable.

No, I don't fly for them. I fly for a ULCC here that other pilots I know think is the only one having operational issues right now. Not that I'm glad, but it doesn't surprise me to me hear that Big Wings Legacy Widget is having issues as well. Sorry that happened, I don't like that even though it wasn't my airline.

I actually love this. this sort of challenge is where the virtue signaling liberals get shown for what they are. Just like the woke NBA folks that criticized the NCAA for different levels of support but are completely silent on their own $10+MM annual salaries while the WNBA ladies make fractions of that. Lot's of support until it lands in my yard and then crickets.....because it was just virtue signaling to begin with.

Everyone in the NBA, Hollywood, etc looks out for #1. they are only about the "equity" when it is some other person or group that will be doing the giving and sacraficing....to make things "equitable"

That's always the line. Except, what is ignored, is that it may be Dimocrat whiteys whose failed policies are the bane of the existence of these people who are killing each other.

No different in the Dim ideology of open borders because all the problems in other countries stem from our failed policies with those countries. Everything is our fault.

The argument being they have no hope to survive in a white corporate world so they make one of their own out of crime.

It's the same as the Narcos in Mexico. Who is to blame about that? The educated Mexicans who are analogous to the white people in the US?

There is a wealth and class gap in almost every country. There will always be those who feel they are permanently excluded and that pulling themselves up by their bootstraps is a losing game. They have their own pride, ambition, greed and life.

Who is the leader of Anitifa? Is that what y'all are upset with? I wonder if the question was asked differently would it get a different answer. Clearly the FBI is tracking "anarchists" based on the response below but this idea that "antifa" is a single organization that they can tie activity to isn't as easy as Oath Keepers, Proud Boys or BLM which have a defined leadership hierarchy.
