Bill O'Brien sucks!!!

after all those super bowls Houston teams have won it must be a real downer to play so poorly, especially in a year like this when everybody is super prepared because of all the extra time and all.

That guy singled handedly devalued the worth of a degree from Brown University

With some parallels to Tom Herman, we were constantly told this guy is smart, maybe even a "football genius." But his teams kept making dumb mistakes, over and over and over. Poor clock management. Poor use of timeouts. Poor, EXTREMELY predictable playcalling (BOB called the plays). Just dumb stuff from top to bottom game after game, season after season.

And I will argue that the only reason the McNair family woke up to this poor state of affairs is because revenues are off this season. Without the virus from China, he would not have been fired. Because revenues would have been the same as always.

Worst trade in team history.
yeah, he basically got nothing in return...just gave him away.

He traded like Bum Phillips, giving away high picks all the time. After Phillips was fired, the team was left with nothing but aging veterans (and Earl). It took the Oilers 5-6 years to recover from the loss of those picks.

I was reminded of this yesterday when I told my brother-in-law, "he look, we go 0-16, trade Watson for picks and draft Trevor Lawrence." He says, "We cant!" O'Brien traded away the pick already! And it could be the overall #1 pick!

The way Hoyer played last night against KC, I was SURE that BoB must somehow have already found work as an OC with NE...

Good to know JJ was as sick of watching O'Brien's ineptness as I was
It's one thing if a backup OL argues with the coach, something else entirely if it is JJ Watt
And he saved Watson from more awkward positioning

O'Brien was fired after 0-4
Since then, Deshaun Watson has basically been the best QB in the NFL
I dont think its a coincidence

70.1 comp pct, 297.2 pass YPG, 30 TD, 6 INT, 112.1 passer rtg

After 5 games and more, Dak was #1 in many QB categories and Dallas was 1-4 (would've been 0-5 but Atlanta doesn't know how to fall on an onsides kick)

Point being, Dallas needed to lead in rushing stats to protect the average, ball-holding, sometimes accurate Dak. Last thing Dallas needed was for Dak to throw 40+ times a game.

In the last 2 seasons, Dallas is 2-13 against playoff teams.
The top stat for a QB? W-L record
