Exactly. This is one of the weakest bubble groups in a long time. Maryland was going to have a tough time getting in anyways, but blowing a 20 point lead in 10 minutes at home to Clemson basically sealed their fate.
Top 40 RPI in the Big 12 is not going to get left out -- even if that is 8-8, and one more regular season win for A&M gets them that. If they don't win either (and they'll be underdogs in both) then they will likely have to make the Big 12 tourney finals to have a shot.
