...can we finally win a championship or are we just going to settle by being the Buffalo Bills?

It seemed like we had trouble with tamu, so hopefully we don't get spanked tomorrow.
 
KU had some problems in the 2nd half with CU. If Higgins wasn't ice cold all game long, it may have been closer.

I think this Texas team can be as good as they want to be and beat anyone if they play smart.
 
We played pretty well against a game Aggie team, although it was a fight. But in the end we shot 49% (40% from 3) and held them to 35% (27% from 3). We shot 67% from the stripe which isn't all that bad for us. And we out rebounded them by 8. All in all that's a sound win. So far we won our games by 20 and 12. I seem to recall 2 days ago KU hanging on for dear life and surviving a last second shot in their first game. And only a 7 point win tonight. So far we've easily had the more impressive tourney by winning margin. Time to take it to 'em again in front of their own fans. Should be a great game.
 
I'm thrilled that we got to the league title game and I'm especially happy that we're facing Kansas. I didn't want it to be anyone else, to tell you the truth.

The Jayhawks will be out for revenge, but I think we find a way to scrape this one out, just as we did several weeks ago in Lawrence.
 
It seems like every time we play these guys, 3 minutes into the game it's 10-0 KU. If we can keep them close in the beginning I think we can win. But, it will be a big upset in my opinion if we do. Would not be surprised by a double-digit loss or a close win.
 
BigTex is right...seems like everytime we play they jump ball and 10 points magically appears for KU and their fans are going nuts. lol I'd like to keep it close (preferably have a reasonable lead that keeps us fighting and not sleeping), and then dogfight it out for the last 5 minutes. Then J'Covan and Jordan light that KU *** up for the win.

I think that it is a long shot that we play ourselves into a #1 seed with a win. But this is for pride. I want to beat KU so bad.

Jayhawks with a hot start--hitting from all areas of the court. Doubt they'll be able to keep it up. We just need to weather the storm and attack that defense.
 
We never show up for these games. KU didnt even show up to win this tournament and as usual, we choke and they are rolling us. No defense. No effort.
 
I don't get what Hill is doing. He isleft open at the top of the key. He dribbles once with his man under the basket, picks up the dribble and then tries to pass it. Why not just dribble to the free throw line and shoot an open shot at the line? He is completely uncovered.
 
Gee, it's a good thing you guys don't panic or anything.

Maybe we lose, maybe we don't, but we've already proven once this year that giving up a big first-half lead to the Jayhawks is an obstacle that can be overcome.
 
I think Kansas is just better period and I will take them in a game that is for a championship over Texas in basketball almost every time and I will take Texas in baseball over just about any team for a Big 12 championship.
 
Kansas doing a great job on the defensive glass, limiting our 'Horns to one shot. Jayhawks are also kickin' our *** in transition.
 
KU leads 39 - 23, Ouch I was hoping Texas would at least be competitve but they are not. Never thought Texas was near a one seed which is OK.
 
39-23 KU. We're not getting back on defense. This could get ugly. Bobby Knight thinks we're tired after playing aggy and okie back to back.

Texas did not break a sweat beating OU and the Aggies, they are not tired, give KU credit, they have 2 stinking losses for a reason.
 
Texas is playing a top 2 team today so I think you have to give Kansas credit, I think the # 1 seed has an advantage by playing earlier in the day over the # 2 seed in the Big 12 tournament.
 
Not defending very well (late getting set and seem to be late with our switches) and not attacking very well.

On a somewhat related note, it's unfortunate that the Jayhawks essentially get two home games versus us this year.
